Abstract:

Abstract Introduction: Construction projects are one of the most important sectors of the economy of the country, which has a high capacity for job creation. Construction projects are part of a huge and strategic set of civil engineering projects that unfortunately have a large share of work-related accidents due to lack of attention to safety. One of the most important issues that can contribute to these events in construction projects is the weakness or lack of comprehensive and efficient risk management. Methods: The purpose of the present study was to identify and rank safety risks in construction projects with the combined approach of FUZZY FMEA and FUZZY TOPSIS. This method for subsequent stages of risk assessment and risk control based on their priority, as well as cost savings. The cost and time of construction project implementation are applicable. This study is descriptive-survey research in terms of purpose and terms of data collection. Results: The identified risks were given to experts and experts in the field of building safety during the questionnaire. The most important risks extracted from the FUZZY T.O.P.S.I.S method are the impact of the crane arm on the building and the slipping and falling of the ramp. In the FUZZYF.M.E.A method, the risks associated with falling from the edge of the pit, slipping and falling from the staircase ramp, and falling from the scaffolding and workstations are highest. CONCLUSION: The major identified risks to the construction industry in two ways, including falling from the edge of a trench, slipping and falling from a staircase ramp and falling from a scaffold, workstations, crane arm colliding with the building and slipping and falling from There is a dirt road on the ramp. Construction projects selection and risk assessment by fuzzy AHP and fuzzy TOPSIS methodologies

Construction projects are initiated in dynamic environment which result in circumstances of high uncertainty and risks due to accumulation of many interrelated parameters. The purpose of this study is to use novel analytic tools to evaluate the construction projects and their overall risks under incomplete and uncertain situations. It was also aimed to place the risk in a proper category and pr...

Using Hybrid Fuzzy PROMETHEE II and Fuzzy Binary Goal Programming for Risk Ranking: A Case Study of Highway Construction Projects

Multi attribute decision making methods are considered as one of the most useful methods for solving ranking problems. In some decision making problems, while the alternatives for corresponding criteria are compared in a pairwise comparison manner, if the criteria are inherently fuzzy, debates will arise in ranking alternatives due to the closeness of the values of the criteria. In this researc...

Assessment Optimization of Safety and Health Risks Using Fuzzy TOPSIS Technique (Case Study: Construction Sites in the South of Iran)

Introduction: Safety and health risk assessment in industries is associated with uncertainties due to the variables affecting it. Therefore, in this research, optimizing safety and health risk assessment was investigated in construction sites by combining a multi-criteria decision-making technique (TOPSIS) and a fuzzy system. In the present study, to answer this question, a new method was used ...

Equitable Risk Allocation in Construction Projects: Fuzzy Bargaining Game Approach

An equitable risk allocation between contracting parties plays a vital role in enhancing the performance of the project. This research presents a new quantitative risk allocation approach by integrating fuzzy logic and bargaining game theory. Owing to the imprecise and uncertain nature of players’ payoffs at different risk allocation strategies, fuzzy logic is implemented to determine the value...

ارزیابی ریسک‌های ایمنی در پروژه‌های انبوه‏سازی با استفاده از ترکیب روش‌های فازی FMEA، فازی FTA و AHP-DEA

Background and aims : The construction industry is known as one of the most dangerous industries in terms of work-related mortality, injury rates and workers compensation payment. Therefore, safety risk assessment is a key step to be performed for management of major construction projects. Method : Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a risk assessment tool that mitigates potential fai...
